If you are not a citizen of one of the European Union (EU) countries, United States, Canada, Australia or other visa-exempt countries (listed here), you may possibly need to apply for a visa process before your travel to the Czech Republic. In the case of uncertainty, please check the list at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.

Passport and visa requirements

Czech Republic is a part of the European Union and the Schengen Area. The visitors from non-EU countries must possess a passport valid for at least three months ahead. Participants requiring a visa should apply at least three months in advance to the consular office or Embassy of the Czech Republic in their country in order to avoid inconvenience. Please note that the visa application procedure can take up to two months.

Formal invitation by conference organizers
